  1. Don't be a dick.
  2. You must register a website account
  3. You have to relocate to the office you are assigned to, and operate from our area of space.
  4. Any complaints should be passed to management so that any necessary changes can be made.
  5. In order to maintain only active players in the corp, and track player activity, its vital that you log into the forum once a month, or if you have to take a longer break (e.g. vacation), this must be registered with the corp.
  6. No member of LiveTech may join a player-run corporation outside the CFS Alliance on either alts or second accounts, with the exception of a holding corporation owned by another CFS to avoid NPC-corp chat
  7. LiveTech members may not enter 0.0 space.
  8. LiveTech members enter lowsec at their own risk.
  9. A LiveTech member's behaviour is at all times subject to review and disciplinary action by management. Piracy and other anti-social acts will not be tolerated and all lowsec activity must comply with the published Rules of Engagement.

The rules are pretty common sense, all stemming from the first "Golden" rule. For those wanting justification, rule 2 is because we use private areas of this website, and we need all our members to read notices posted there. Without a website account, you can't do this and you won't be taking an active part in the corporation. In a similar vein, rule 3 is based on the notion that if you aren't in our area then we can't help you with things and you can't help us with things. It also means that you wont be taking advantage of office features such as the shared hangar space. Rule 4 is based on the notion that things can be changed, and we'd like the opportunity to make this a comfortable place for you to be, and if you don't tell us what you think we are doing wrong, then we can't do this. In extreme cases, this has led to people quitting the corp over little things we didn't know were troubling people, so this is now the rule... The new rule, rule 5, is designed to compensate for the fact that ingame we have no way of tracking who logged in when, but we do have through the forum. All you need to do to comply with this is make sure you log in to the forum once a month. You really ought to be doing that to keep up to date on the announcements and corp discussions anyhow. If you don't do this, you will be kicked. If you need to take a longer break for a vacation or something, then just tell a corp officer and we'll make a note not to kick you.

The new rules (7, 8 and 9) cover our policy to lowsec, 0.0 and how we operate during PvP. Essentially this is an extension of rule 1 - don't be a dick to other people and it will be all good. As far as forbidding our members from entering 0.0, this is for two reasons. First and foremost, these systems are a lot further from our home than we are comfortable with you operating, and secondly these systems are often claimed as territory for big alliances - in large part we want to avoid unpleasant diplomatic incidents by tresspassing on claimed space.
